Wi-Fi and App Connection

The Wi-Fi Network Does Not Appear
  • Turn on the AKY-730PRO.
  • Enable Wi-Fi from the device settings screen.
  • Make sure that the blue LED is lit or flashing.
  • Open the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone.
  • Check whether 730Pro-** appears in the list of available networks.
  • Unable to Connect to the App
  • Connect your smartphone to **730Pro-****.
  • Enter the default password: 12345678.
  • Temporarily disable mobile data on your smartphone.
  • Disable any VPN or proxy connection.
  • Fully close and restart the AKEEYO app.
  • Restart the AKY-730PRO.
  • If the issue persists, restore the device to its factory settings and reconnect it.
  • Wi-Fi Connects, but the App Does Not Recognize the Device
  • Disconnect your smartphone from the device’s Wi-Fi network.
  • Reconnect to **730Pro-****.
  • Delete the registered AKY-730PRO from the AKEEYO app.
  • Add the main unit again as a new device.
  • Restart both your smartphone and the AKY-730PRO.
  • If the issue persists, restore the device to its factory settings.
  • The App Screen Is Black and the Live View Is Unavailable
  • Make sure that your smartphone is connected to the device’s Wi-Fi network.
  • Keep your smartphone within 10 metres of the device.
  • Avoid walls, metal objects, and other obstacles between the smartphone and the device.
  • Disable mobile data, VPN, and proxy connections.
  • Restart both the AKY-730PRO and the AKEEYO app.
  • The Video Display in the App Is Delayed
  • Reduce the distance between your smartphone and the device.
  • Reduce the number of nearby Wi-Fi devices.
  • Switch to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band if it is available.
  • Download the video to your smartphone before playing it.
  • Wi-Fi Disconnects Frequently
  • Disable Auto Network Switch, Smart Network Switch, or a similar feature on your smartphone.
  • Disable mobile data.
  • Disable any VPN or proxy connection.
  • Delete the saved Wi-Fi network information and enter the password again.
  • Reduce the distance between your smartphone and the device.
  • The App Crashes
  • Update the AKEEYO app to the latest version.
  • If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app.
  • Allow the app to access location information, photos, storage, Wi-Fi, and other required permissions.
  • Restart your smartphone.
  • The App Displays “Insufficient Permissions”

    From your smartphone settings, grant the AKEEYO app access to the following:

    • Location
    • Photos or storage
    • Local network
    • Wi-Fi connections

    If your smartphone’s power-saving settings restrict the app, remove the restriction.

    Internet Access Is Unavailable While Connected to Wi-Fi

    The AKY-730PRO Wi-Fi network is used exclusively for data communication between the main unit and the AKEEYO app.

    It does not provide internet access.

    To access the internet, disconnect from the device’s Wi-Fi network and switch to a standard Wi-Fi network or mobile data. 
    Recording Starts Automatically After Connecting to the App

    Recording starts automatically when you open the live preview screen.

    This is normal.

    To pause recording, briefly press the power button on the device once.

    I Cannot Change Settings in the App
  • Check the connection between the main unit and the app.
  • Close the live preview screen.
  • Reopen the settings screen.
  • Restart the app.
  • If the issue persists, restart the AKY-730PRO.
  • I Have Not Received the Registration Verification Code
    1. Make sure that the email address you entered is correct.
    2. Check your spam or junk mail folder.
    3. Make sure that you have not requested the verification code repeatedly within a short period.
    4. Use a different email address if necessary.
