Follow this guide to manually upgrade your dashcam's firmware using an SD card.
Firmware Upgrade Logic
Once a firmware update file (with .bin extension) is placed on the SD card, the dashcam will automatically detect and initiate the update process upon startup.
🛠 Steps to Upgrade Firmware
Step 1: Download the Firmware

- AKY-710Pro
Step 2: Copy Firmware File to SD Card
- Insert your SD card into a computer using a card reader.

Download the latest firmware file (a file ending in .bin).

Copy the firmware file to the root directory of the SD card.
Step 3: Insert SD Card into Dashcam
- Safely eject the SD card from your computer.

Insert the card into the dashcam and power it on.

The device will begin upgrading automatically — you’ll see the indicator light flash rapidly.
Step 4: Format SD Card After Update
- Once the update is complete, the device will reboot automatically.
Important: You must format the SD card after the upgrade.

You can format the SD card directly from the
app after connecting to the device.

⚠️ Important Notes
- Ensure the device has a stable power supply during the entire upgrade process.

Do not power off the device while the firmware is updating, as this may cause firmware corruption.

Always insert the SD card before powering on the device for upgrade.
❌ What If the Firmware Upgrade Fails?
If the update fails due to power loss or other issues, the device may not boot properly.
In that case, please contact customer support to request a recovery firmware file and SD card upgrade instructions.
