  1. Insert your SD card into a computer using a card reader.
  2. Download the latest firmware file (a file ending in .bin).
  3. Copy the firmware file to the root directory of the SD card.

Step 3: Insert SD Card into Dashcam

  1. Safely eject the SD card from your computer.
  2. Insert the card into the dashcam and power it on.
  3. The device will begin upgrading automatically — you’ll see the indicator light flash rapidly.

Step 4: Format SD Card After Update

  1. Once the update is complete, the device will reboot automatically.
  2. Important: You must format the SD card after the upgrade.
    • Otherwise, the dashcam will continue attempting to re-upgrade each time it boots.
  3. You can format the SD card directly from the app after connecting to the device.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Ensure the device has a stable power supply during the entire upgrade process.
  • Do not power off the device while the firmware is updating, as this may cause firmware corruption.
  • Always insert the SD card before powering on the device for upgrade.

❌ What If the Firmware Upgrade Fails?

If the update fails due to power loss or other issues, the device may not boot properly.
In that case, please contact customer support to request a recovery firmware file and SD card upgrade instructions.
