Follow these steps to connect your AKY-710S device to your smartphone via Wi-Fi:

Step 1: Turn On Wi-Fi on the Device

• Press the power button twice quickly on the device. (You will feel 2 short vibrations — this toggles Wi-Fi ON/OFF.)
• Wi-Fi ON: Blue light is ON
• Wi-Fi OFF: Blue light is OFF

🔹 By default, Wi-Fi is ON when the device is first powered on.

Step 2: Add Device in the 【AKEEYO】 App

1. Open the AKEEYO app.
2. Tap “Add Device”.
3. The app will guide you to the phone’s Wi-Fi settings.
4. From the list of available networks, select 【AKY-710~】.
5. Enter the Wi-Fi password: 12345678 and connect.

Step 3: Return to the App

• After connecting, the app should return automatically.
• If you see the live video feed, the connection is successful.

❌ Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection Issues

🔍 Basic Checks

• Is the dashcam powered on?
• Is the blue Wi-Fi light ON?
• Did you enter the correct password? (12345678)

🔄 Reset and Retry

• Turn Wi-Fi OFF then ON again on the device (press the power button twice).
• On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings: Tap “Forget This Network” for AKY-710S, then reconnect.
• Restart the AKEEYO app.

⚠️ If the App Says “Connection Failed”

• Make sure no other app is trying to use the Wi-Fi connection.
• Ensure mobile data is turned OFF or not interfering.
• Try switching to Airplane Mode, then enable only Wi-Fi.
