How to Change Wi-Fi Name and Password (AKY-710S/Pro)

To update your device's Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password, follow the steps below:

Steps to Change Wi-Fi Settings

  1. Make sure your phone is connected to the device's Wi-Fi and open the AKEEYO app.
  2. Tap “Access Camera” to enter the live view.
  3. Go to Camera Settings.
  4. Scroll down until you see Wi-Fi Name and Wi-Fi Password.
  5. Tap to change either or both fields.
Default Wi-Fi Password: 12345678

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Be sure to remember your new Wi-Fi name and password.
  • If you forget them, you will need to reset the device to factory settings to restore the default Wi-Fi name and password format (AKY-710~ and 12345678).
  • To perform a factory reset and restart your device, please follow these steps:
    1. Ensure the device is in video recording pause mode. 
      1. Here’s how to activate it: Short-press the power button once. The device will vibrate once, and the red indicator light will stop blinking and stay on steadily
    2. Press the button 5 times consecutively.
    3. This will initiate a factory reset and power off the device.
    4. Restart the device after the reset is complete.
