If your AKY-NV-X requires a manual firmware update, please follow the steps below carefully. This process requires a Windows PC and a microSD card.
Use a microSD card (8–32GB recommended).
Back up any important data on the card — it will be erased during the process.
Ensure all file paths on your PC use English letters and numbers only (no spaces, special characters, or non-Latin text). Otherwise, the update tool may not work properly.
Download the tool PhoenixCard V4.2.3 to your PC.
(If the original link is expired, please contact customer support for the latest version.)
Extract the downloaded file to a folder on your PC.
Download the correct firmware package (example: XHF-001-AKY-NV-X-20221230.zip).
Extract the file and save it in a folder on your PC.
⚠ Make sure the folder path contains only English letters/numbers.
Insert your microSD card into the PC.
Format the card (use Windows formatting).
Important: Back up any files first, as this will erase everything.
Launch PhoenixCard.exe.
In the tool, select your microSD card from the drop-down list.
Click Restore. If successful, you will see “Format successful.”
Click Image, then browse and select the extracted firmware file (e.g. XHF-001-AKY-NV-X-20221230.img
).
Click Product.
Confirm your microSD card is still selected.
Click Burn to start writing the firmware.
This process usually takes about 3 minutes.
When complete, you will see “Magic Complete” and “Burn End.”
Click Close to finish.
Safely eject the microSD card from your PC.
Insert the microSD card into your AKY-NV-X device.
Power on the device. The update will start automatically.
Wait until the update reaches 100%. The device will power off automatically when finished.
Once the screen turns black, remove the microSD card from the device.
⚠ If you leave the card inside, the device will attempt to update every time it powers on.
After removal, reformat the microSD card again using PhoenixCard (not Windows). This ensures it can be reused normally.
